I'm currently building and managing a bespoke, fully integrated agency at WPP to service WBA (Boots & No7). The previous seven years were at the Havas network in Australia, the final four as Managing Director of Havas and Host/Havas. The preceding 13 years were spent in London and Sydney with Saatchi & Saatchi, M&C Saatchi and two independent agencies; Host and Libertine.
I believe that great creativity is borne by mixing exceptional talent with genuine empathy. I love building high performing teams and love even more watching them succeed.
I believe that happy people create their best work, so creating the right conditions for talented people to thrive has been my focus in recent years.

And I care about doing good. It's good business, whatever business you're in. I'm proud to have provided several not-for-profit organisations with audacious creative ideas that have made a big impact.
By combining the smartest CX, data and technical teams with the best creative thinkers and designers in the market, we created a team capable of finding solutions to any business problem.
Our 'output neutral' approach led to everything from highly effective digital transformation programmes for government departments to highly awarded campaigns for big brands. And a lot in between.
We created the world's most awarded campaign in 2018, the 'Palau Pledge', winning two Black Pencils at D&AD, the Titanium Grand Prix at Cannes and over 100 other international awards.
Winning the Grand Effie (Australia's most prestigious effectiveness award) for 'long-term effects' on our largest client, Defence Force Recruiting, was probably our greatest accolade.
The combination of effective work and creative innovation led to multiple Agency of the Year awards, both locally and across APAC.
In 2018, we merged Host with Havas Sydney to create Host/Havas. Mergers are not for the faint-hearted, but I'm incredibly proud that we not only succeeded but also created a unique and powerful business.
Beyond building the most diverse and talented agency team in Sydney, we assembled one of the nicest groups of humans on the planet. From creatives to developers, planners to client service; our brilliant people created a very special culture.

I ran the DFR account from 2014-2016 before becoming MD of Havas - then ran this flagship client at an Exec level. The case study video below tells the story. Our work on DFR won the Australian Grand Effie (Effectiveness Grand Prix) in 2018 and a Gold Effie for 'Long-term Effects' 2014-2018.
